Celebrate December

It’s December the 1st. You would not believe how excited my class were today. It was very sweet –  I have never ever seen children so happy to reach the 1st of December! Granted this is the youngest class I have ever taught (they are currently 7 – 8 years old) so I guess I haven’t been caught up in the frenzy that is the countdown to Christmas to this extent since being 7 myself but it’s all good fun.

So…seeing as my day was so focused on the 25th today, is it too early for me to start mentioning Christmas on my blog? Surely not! We all need to prepare right? and I for one love a good list and some planning.

Last year I posted some edible Christmas gifts that are great to give as gifts to friends over the holidays. If you fancy making some treats of your own, check out these lovely free printables from The Pretty Blog – they will make great labels for your presents.

Or how about these homemade Christmas decorations? Details of how to make them can be found here.

Happy crafting/cooking!
